Just a reminder (shyeah as if you needed one right?) that this week is Stormrise week. The game premiere's this Thursday for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Very exciting. I'm excited and you should be excited too, it's less awkward that way. As the release draws closer a few scant sites have thrown up some preview impressions and there is definitely a theme running through them. It seems many are having trouble coming to grips with an entirely new control scheme that takes some time to get used too.

A new control scheme is obviously Stormrise's biggest obstacle but hopefully the following video tutorial should familiarize you with the controls.The important thing to remember is that the left stick is your camera and the right stick is for selecting units. Holding the the right stick in any direction shows all the units in your current view, all you need to do is highlight the one you want to jump too and then release the right stick and you'll 'whip' over to it. In a pinch you can also nudge the right stick the direction of the unit you want and you'll jump straight there.

The below video shows you this mechanic in action happening in real time. Fingers crossed that Creative Assembly have a decent tutorial section for the title when it launches.
