It looks like Nintendo have their A team working on the new Punch Out game for the Wii, and I couldn't be more excited. Most everything from the 80s is being remade in some form or another with most falling in a crap heap when we realise, "Hey, we were just kids when we thought this stuff was cool." Not so with the new Wii version of Punch Out.
The trailer for Punch Out that was released yesterday and it is rockin'. With a cell-shaded style that negates the need for high definition graphics (Though it would be nice, right?) and near carbon copies of the game's iconic characters, add this game to the slowly growing list of AAA titles that the Wii needs to start living up to those gigantic sales figures. Better check if the old girl still works.
