Hey you. Yeah you. Wouldn't it be awesome to play as the joker in the incredible looking new Batman game? Well you are in luck, because Eidos and Warner Bros. have just confirmed that the Joker will in fact be playable only on the PS3.

Of course this is only confirmation on the images shown of an Add in Playstation Home for the Joker Exclusivity, but its still nice to have confirmation from the developers before announcing such a cool addition. Joining the announcement is a new screen shot of the Joker shown above.

On launch day you will be able to download the Joker from the PSN for free. The slightly disappointing thing is that he will only be playable in the Challenge Maps, but still you get to play as the Joker! How cool is that?

Please tell me that you have at least seen the game play footage on GameTrailers, if you haven't I suggest that you watch it. This game looks like it will be absolutely amazing, I'll be the first to admit I'm not a huge batman fan, although The Dark Night was superb, but this looks like its going to be one of the better games of 09. From all the games released so far and what we know is coming, that's no easy feat.
