Sometimes life can be cruel. Sure you might be a l33t gamer with mad skillz. But since your 360 red ringed you're stuck with the Wii your overly senile hygiene challenged grandmother got you for christmas. Wii Mariocart just isn't giving you that buzz, that challenge you crave.

You might want to check out Urban Extreme: Street Rage when it comes out in May. It's both urban AND extreme.

Okay joking aside Street Rage looks like it could be a legitimate reason to treat yourself to a Wii purchase (and your grandmother deserves more respect in her twilight years you little b@stard!). The career mode has you forced into underground race tournaments by nasty criminal types to compete for cash to upgrade your vehicle and buy new cars, the press release actually says '32 Unique play and unlockable vehicle designs', not sure what that means, I think it means 32 unlockable cars. But maybe not. If racing isn't usually your button you might be interested to know that taking out other vehicles, Burnout style, is an important strategy to winning races. Also trying to avoid being taken out in the process.

Unfortunately when it comes to Wii games beggars really can't be choosers right now. The Conduit and Muramusa Blade are far in the distance. Street Rage should be on shelves May 22 under Nintendo's new Popcorn Arcade label .
