During our E3 podcast you may have heard me mention Koei (which I recently came out of closest and admitted to being a big fan off) coming to E3 with a new game based on the Trojan War and their Dynasty Warriors game engine.

Everyone laughed, well I'll show them, I'll show them all! With this trailer!

I must confess even I didn't expect the game to look like this, obviously this is only a cinematic trailer but holy crap! The blood it does flow. Expect Warriors: Legends of Troy to follow the same style and control scheme of the Dynasty Warriors games but with added blood, gore and violence. Maybe you don't know but the Dynasty Warriors games are like Final Fantasy games, flashy and magical but practically no 'real looking' violence.

This is very obviously Koei's attempt to break into the west with a Warriors game series and the Koei Canada logo is indicative of this. Most exciting for long term Koeians like me is the news that this Warriors will feature online coop for up to four players and versus game modes.
