Blowing stuff up has proved to be popular among the lucky owners of a next gen system with the excellent Red Faction: Guerrilla. Don’t believe me? How dare you. Well here is proof with Aaron's review. To further back my outrageous statement there will soon be DLC released for the game, just like every other big title to be released in the last 12 months.
Included in the DLC will be three packs spread apart, the only information we have is on the first one. What I find surprising about the upcoming DLC is that it is an expansion for the single player portion of the game. Most single player expansions take a bit longer than this and for a game with such good multiplayer and what seems to be the largest number of maps released on a disk this generation, 21, a few more couldn’t have hurt. But for those that loved the single player and pleaded with the game for more.
It’s called Demons of the Badlands and will take players to an all-new section of the Red Planet. It has been described as a destructive single-player story arc that will take the player outside of the (large) boundaries setup in the main story line. Pricing has been set at 800 Microsoft Points, not sure on the Australian PSN Pricing at this time. It will arrive on the August 13th for both the PSN and Xbox Live Market place. Now I need to get out of here since there seems to be a guy with a hammer trying to knock down my building, fancy that.
