Skate 2 will be receiving even more DLC soon, wow noticing a trend today? Well below you might be able to find some nice looking screen shots of the new Maloof Money Cup Pack, funny name that. Since Skate 2 is one of my favourite games, and the most addicting behind Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Killzone 2, I’m slightly excited about this.

The first thing that needs addressing is the goofy name; the Maloof Money Cup is actually a real world competition that is famous for offering the largest competition winnings in the Skateboarding world, $450,000 overall to be specific. Obviously with the big cash comes the big names and for some reason EA. Well I'm fine with that since EA has taken the course design and slapped it into the brilliance of Skate 2.

So what’s the best bit? New challenges will be put into the single player game as well as online for all those people that have smashed their way through the game. While I haven’t bought any DLC for the game yet, though tempting as its been, this might be the one to push me over the edge. Its low pricing might have something to do with that, sitting at only 240 Microsoft points on the Xbox live marketplace seems like a done deal to me.

Considering that the last piece of DLC was released way back in February, cost 400 Microsoft points and was just sections from the first game brought to the second could be showing that EA might, just might be starting to understand that small quality DLC like this will sell if it’s cheap enough. Let’s just hope that they keep the support up for the game after this is released on the 9^th of July. Hey that’s my birthday! And one day before the competition starts.
