Resonance of Fate Gameplay Trailer Looks Wooish

A new gameplay trailer has snuck on the nets for Tri-Aces Resonance of Fate, which you might be more familiar with from its Japanese title End of Eternity. Lord only knows why they bothered with the name change, both sound poetic and completely lacking in any sort of context which makes them perfect game titles for a J-RPG.

The trailer high lights the Tri-Ace-Battle System of gameplay which lets players move party members around in real time, leap through the air and blast enemies in a slow motion Max Payne, Matrix style (but to be fair they did it first in Blade).

As with standard J-RPG's turn based format you have a limitation on how much bullet time you can do, based on how many bullets you have loaded and how much time you have to attack. Judging by the trailer precise attacks on enemies weak points can do a lot more damage than others.

But all up this game is looking rather cool if you can forgive the dodgy 80's pony tail.
