Blazblue is for sale! Checkout Metacritic and see its amazing scores and complimentary reviews describing a fighting game both deep and gorgeous with an animation style that looks like an anime show come to life.

Now run to the store clapping your hands like a seal with a learning disability and throw money at the clerk screaming ‘Blazblue’ over and over. Then drool in uncomprehending horror when he asks what you are talking about. Because there is no PAL release intended for Blazblue.

That’s right kittens. The powers that be have not let slip a release day for a PAL region version of Blazblue and word on the streetnet is that no release is planned. Not 'to be advised', no 'we're thinking about it', just plain no.

Shock.

Horror.

Why does the PAL region always get boned? God forbid we should miss out on the latest Ubisoft DS pet simulator, but a genuinely brilliant game comes out and somehow we’re on the ‘no sale’ list. What is about Europe and/or Australia? Is it the metric system? If so we’ll change that, we'll adopt pounds or feet or whatever it is. Is it Russia? Because we totally don't trust them either, sneaky cossacks. Just forgive us our little trespasses. We're nice, we're friendly, hell we're the PAL region, so let's be pals ya know.

There is a way to get hold of Blazblue, the PS3 version just happens to be region free and you can order it from fine online retailers like Play Asia who have the US and Japanese versions to choose from. But you’ll be forking over a good $100 AUD including postage.

So I'm cracking open my piggy bank and spending my hard earned money outside Australia's economy. I don't want to, but they leave no choice.
