Just as you thought that Modern Warfare 2 was only going to cost you 199 with a flash new set of night vision goggles Robert Bowling, of Four Zero Two fame on Twitter, has tweeted he is in a design meeting for a Modern Warfare 2 Controller. Hmmm

The interesting part about this is that he has asked the community if they would rather concave or convex analogue sticks. Twitter is going insane over this, with most of the replies being that people are after a concave design. It also sounds to me that this might go further than the traditional re-skinning of a 360/PS3 controller. Otherwise why are they asking for hardware design opinions? Is it possible they will create a controller that has the same shape for the PS3 and 360 version of the game?

I know from a bit of research that Infinity Ward as a whole seems to prefer the 360 and the controller that goes along with it. This has concave analogue sticks opposed to the PS3 controller’s convex design. The 360 controller is widely hailed as the better controller for FPS; I'm not so sure I agree since the matter is purely opinion based. But considering this I think that Infinity Ward will create a controller for both the PS3 and 360 that has a design that resembles the 360 controller with a few tweaks to the design. This will help most people transition between the PS3 and 360. Let’s hope it works with both consoles. If it does and it has a nice design it’s a purchase for me.

The thing that has me annoyed and worried is how focused they seem to be on expensive, but cool, Limited Editions and controllers instead of showing us more of the game or giving us multiplayer details. I'm sure they game will be fantastic but we all want some more details on the game. I know I'm not the only one who cant wait for this game to come out.
