After announcing that the excellent Call of Duty 4 has sold 14 million copys world wide (I own 2 of that number.) In a somewhat strange move, Activison has announced that a port will be coming to the Wii. That isn’t a typo; I didn’t mean Modern Warfare 2.

In what is an obvious move, because Infinity Ward seems to hate the Wii, the game is being developed by Treyarch.If you recall, the other Treyarch Call of Duty games, 3 and World at war, made appearances on the Wii and sold well. But Call of Duty 4 is the best FPS this generation, in my opinion, and I hope that it makes a good transition to the Wii and keeps the games trademark 60fps (unlikely.) I’m not sure how I feel about this since I love Call of Duty 4 and I know the game will be downgraded to run on the Wii. Lets hope friend codes don’t screw everyone over, what am I saying we all know they will ruin the game
