New Site Development

I’m currently deep in the process of developing the final build of That Aussie Game Site. The current version of That Aussie Game Site is very much a temporary beast, though it has served us well.

We’re porting the existing content and community over to the open source giant, Joomla, and so far so good! We have a swanky new design that I’m itching to show all our current members and visitors alike and a whole bunch of new features that will help us add content and users read it.

Our members have probably noticed that the site has been a little light on content lately. This is due to time restrictions more than anything else. We make no apologies for this, but we really appreciate the fact that our members can keep themselves busy and entertained keeping active in the forums and doing what we all love - playing videogames.

I estimate that the new site will launch in a couple of week,s but I don’t plan on having a countdown. We’ll leave countdowns to overhyped games and the pretentious.

That Aussie Gamecast

Last night we did our first podcast after a break in the schedule. We only got half a show done as we managed to talk non-stop about the games we’ve been playing for as long as it normally takes us to do a full podcast.
