Regular visitors to That Aussie Game Site will know that for the past little while we have been syndicating the Thumbpad podcast. Thumbpad is an awesome show that follows a similar sensibility to that of the now defunct That Aussie Gamecast. As editor of That Aussie Game Site I hand picked Thumbpad (Desperately begged them) to feature on our humble little website, but what you may not know is that Mick, Aleks and Kane from Thumbpad are also involved in another project that is 100% more visual than the excellent Thumbpad podcast.

Level 3 is a videogame television program that airs on Melbourne's community television network as well as being available online at level3.org.au. The show is co-hosted by the charismatic Mick J Levacsics who delivers his pixel related quips with a dry sensibility that rivals most Aussie presenters and features Aleks' (better known as Serblander) regular appearances as the resident retro gamer and videogame-paraphernalia junkie. As well as the rudementary game reviews and feature pieces Level 3 delivers a sense of humour and point of view on videogames that only we Aussies get.

If you haven't already checked it out, watch a bit of the episode below. Jason and the rest of the Level 3 crew do a fantastic job and the whole show reminds me a lot of what the boys over at Giant Bomb are doing. It's underground videogames at their finest and the boys at Level 3 are destined for big things. Check it out.
