Bloody hell! I haven't even scratched the dusty, blood caked surface of alien wasteland RPG blaster Borderlands to write the TAGS review for it (here's a preview though, it's real good) and they've all ready gone and announced a bunch of expansion content arriving as soon as the 24 November. That's like (counting fingers slowly) only a week or two away.

The expansion is titled Zombie Island of Dr. Ned and features lots of new loot, rather Frankensteinesque zombies and the promise of were-scags. I think I may have dated a were-scag in uni, she was an environmental science student...

Anyway, Zombie Island will retail for 800 MS points and whatever the going rate equivalent is at the PS3 store. Given the strength of the Aussie dollar against the US buck it can't be more then $10 now can it? Click through for a few more spooky screenshots. More good news is that Zombie Island is just the begginning, Gearbox has a lot more DLC planned for Borderlands. There is some bad news though, no confirmed release of DLC for the PC version, bit of a poor show for a multiplatform game. Gearbox haven't made any statement other than, it's not ready yet, so apologies to our keyboard faithful brethren, we know your road can be a lonely one at times.
