No no no no no no no no no, AAAAHHHHHHH WHARGLBARGL BARGL!!!!!
An official statement from Sega follows:
“SEGA Australia can today confirm that the initial submission of Aliens vs Predator has been Refused Classification by the Classification Operations Board of Australia. We will continue to investigate all options available to us, including the possibility of appeal.”
Yes - Aliens Versus Predator, perhaps the number one game on my anticopatometer, has been refused classification in Australia by the OFLC. My god, I am fit to be tied this morning at this news. Is this sudden swarm of RC's a response by the OFLC to Atkinson's accusation that they're too lenient? Have some new, more specific regulations been drafted for classifying games? Whatever it is it must be stopped.
Otherwise when you play AVP next year its going to look more like the pictures below.

Actually the OFLC too will probably ban this one for promoting smoking and drinking

DO YOU SEE! YES, HILARIOUS ISN'T IT! EVERY GAME YOU BUY NEXT YEAR WILL LOOK LIKE THIS!
