Naughty Dog, What the Hell?

OK its time for some truths that might hurt a few of you, but first let me say I love Uncharted 2. This is my personal favourite game of the year. The Single player game is the best part; the Co-op and Multiplayer have kept me playing the game, but what the hell are you thinking Naughty Dog?

If you are wondering what I'm talking about, first you need to know the game has XP in the form of Cash you get to spend on upgrades. You earn cash over Single player, Muliplayer and Co-op game modes. This is where my problem lies with the game; if you leave a Multiplayer Match early you get fined. Not a small fine either, $40,000 dollars. To put that in perspective, one kill is worth $500…. That’s 80 kills worth of cash that I get punished for having a life and wanting to do something else besides playing your game.

I left a game early because I was leaving to play sport, not something that can wait. I came home wanting to relax and play some Uncharted 2. BAM! I see I have lost $40,000 that I could have spent on upgrades. That pissed me off so much that I didn’t even play Uncharted 2, I just went off and played some Borderlands. Seriously Naughty Dog what the hell are you thinking punishing players for leaving a room?

Oh now that I have got started I might as well ask why can't I stay in a room after going through matchmaking once? You can't keep that room open? Seriously? Some of you might not get the big deal, but imagine every match you play. Every single one having to go through matchmaking, in a long gaming session this is incredibly frustrating. Call of Duty 4 came out a while ago and did it right, is it that hard to just copy what works?

Uncharted I love you, but do you love me back? I'm really not into the whole punish your lover scene
