Like all non sociopathic children I was pretty nuts for Lego, throwing away instructions as I tore apart the box (the boxes were never easy to open were they?) to find new ways to work my new packs of Lego into a sweeping D&D inspired Lego game I forced my siblings to play. As an adult with internet access I’ve discovered whole communities devoted to the worship of the cult of Lego and creating war and adventure games like mine based around the versatile brick system. Plays likeBrik Wars are probably the most well known but there's a whole world of modders creating customisable Lego content.

Seeing the first screenshots and trailer for Lego Universe from NetDevil had my inner child gasping with big shiney eyes. Check out the images and trailer below to treat your own inner child and if you have them your own children (and please don’t go and fetch someone elses children, That Aussie Game Site does not condone or encourage kidnapping).
