Brink Characters Are Looking Thugly

Here's a video of the character customisation options available in Brink. The options are, perhaps thankfully, not as detailed or complex as publisher Bethesda's other titles like Oblivion, whose character customisation system I frequently lose myself in and spend hours tweaking my characters face, only to put a helmet on him an hour into my game. Brink, in case you forgot, is another FPS/RPG hybrid that claims to combine the dynamic movement controls of Mirrors Edge with the shooting gameplay of Call of Duty with customisable characters who gain levels and learn new abilities. It's all sounding pretty amazing so far and all the early impressions so far are high on the excitement level.

The video below features the modification that you can make to your character for use in both the online and offline game modes, very similar to the Persistent Elite Creation system in Ubisoft games, and gives you a good idea of the visual style of the game.
