UPDATED: With the extended version of the short film. Even cooler.

Not sure if I've mentioned this before but I hate needles, like reeeeeally hate needles. I recall in university eagerly offering to slash my arm with a scalpel and bleed into a specimen cup rather than facing the simple sting of a needle for a blood test. Unfortunately for me the latest ad for Halo: Reach, another terrific short film in the same vein (although not as good) as the We Are ODST advert is pretty gratuitous with the swirling needles. Sure we don't actually see any stabbing action, but fellow needlephobic's will attest to the fact just the site of a syringe, even comically oversized ones, are enough to give us the heebie jeebies.

I'm not actually sure of this ad is for Halo: Reach or just for the Beta about to launch in May, either way it's pretty cool. You might not like Bungie's games but you can't deny their promotional materials are cool.
