Kahloo Kahlay! Steam has finally graced Apple Mac desktops with its presence after some slightly worrisome delays. We here at casa del Mitchell were very excited on Thursday when we downloaded Steam because not only could we get a copy of Portal for the desktop for free, that's right, for a limited time Portal is free right now on Steam, we were also, finally, able to get a game the whole family enjoyed on the PC Torchlight! And for $10 measely dollars to boot. We played the hell  out of the demo last year but our virus ridden PC gave up the ghost before we could download the full game. If you are a Mac user and didn't get around to enjoying the best independent game of last year then trust me when I say $10 for a game like Torchlight is a bargain you would be barking mad to pass up. Download that sucker immediately. Or if you're hesitant expect a full review from me next week to assist the decision process.

Steam on the Mac is pretty exciting and our iMac has all ready garnered more play time than the Xbox with me and the kids this week.
