See that's better. Ta da, box art below which I must say looks pretty snappy. In case you're not in the know, Fable III has your intrepid custom hero becoming the ruler of Albion and juggling the responsibilities of heroic adventures with family life and running a kingdom. Developer Peter Molyneaux and his peons at Lionhead have no intention of making things easy for you either, expect running the feudal nation of Albion to be a full time pain in the royal arse.

Apparently the character you play in the game will be your child, or one of your children from Fable II. Not sure how that's going to work for me though as I had nine children with three separate wives who I had to work hard to keep from finding out about each other, bigamy isn't an easy hobby, but with a love as big as mine it's hard not to spread it around. If that paragraph has sold you on playing Fable II then good! It's a fantastic game and well worth your time.

If you scroll a wee bit further down you'll see the Limited Edition thats available as well. The Limited Edition will apparently contain all of this stuff:

  • "A new quest: Uncover the mystery of the haunted forests of Silverpines and earn the legendary sword, Wolfsbane, deadly against wolves and balverines.
  • Exclusive location: Unlock a new region, ideal for settling down with a family and discovering new treasures.
  • Fable 3 playing cards: Created by Lionhead, these cards depict every type of character in "Fable III," including Heroes, royals, rebels and villains from across Albion and beyond.
  • Guild Seal Coin: The coin features a Good side (blue) and Evil side (red) to assist players in making critical decisions that will impact the fate of the world forever.
  • A new dog breed: Renowned for its loyalty, the Boxer is a brave canine companion worthy of greatest Queens and Kings.
  • One unique outfit: Unearth one male and female outfit from the mysterious, faraway land of Aurora, a new destination in your Fable 3 adventures."
  •

I like the inclusion of a coin to flip for your good and bad moral choices. Lets just hope we actually get all this stuff though. Faithful Fable fans who forked dollars over for the Fable II LE (*cough* me)were more than a little disappointed when supply problems meant that some of the best features, including a statue of a Hobb, were being left out at the last minute.

Expect Fable III to grace your collection late this year.
