Scott Pilgrim Trailer is Made of Epic Epicness

Allow me to be the first to say WHOA YEEEEEEEEEEEEAH!

ScottpilgrimcomicYou should definitely go and look up the comic book on which this film is based because its a choice piece of fiction and beats the stuffing out of most of the funny books choking up comic shop shelves today. You've got plenty of time, the movie isn't set to come out until August 16. For added star points its directed by one Edgar Wright, one third of the genius behind Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz along side Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.

To keep it all relevant you should know Ubisoft are working on the game adaptation to the movie and, proving that some times developers really get their source material, they've commissioned  Australian video game artist Paul Robertson to bring Scott Pilgrim to life in glorious pixelated 16 bit. If you've never come across Paul Robertson's work (check out his completely insane and very NSFW Livejournal page by clicking anywhere between these brackets), which includes such YouTube sensations as Pirate Baby's Cabana Street Fight and Kings of Power 4 Billion%, check out the videos below. These aren't actually games, but art projects made to look like games. Very cool.

I particularly like the part where the cast of Predator show up and shoot all the zombies. It's one of those things you wouldn't believe would happen unless you saw it.
