I had a thought today, one that didn't involve Miranda Kerr, a tequila bottle and I washing up together on a desert island and never being rescued, so I thought I'd share it.
When the NBN kicks in we (and by we I mean Australians) are going to absolutely demolish all challengers in the international arena of online games. Think about it. A decade of online game playing tempered, like the steel of a samurai sword, by laggy and almost unplayable matches against opponents who seem able to walk through explosions, survive shotgun blasts to the face and sniper shots to the brain pan.
Every laggy death another fold in the grain of our blade making it ever sharper.
When the NBN levels the playing field between us and our colonial cousins, the American's, they will be rudely awakened to our raw barbarian ability. Their howls of rage and streams of cursing will be sweet, honeyed music to my ears. My friends, our days of inflating the kill counts and stats of others are coming to an end. Vivat Australiana!
