"It's time to kick ass and chew bubble gum. And I'm all out of gum."

I haven't gone crazy, but this may be the cause for the crazy amounts of rain South Australia has been getting. Duke Nukem Forever is actually going to come out. There is a good reason it is coming out, a brilliant developer has taken the duty to release the game after the closure of 3D Realms. That developer is Gearbox Software, the people that made the brilliant Borderlands.

2011 is the date we have been given at this stage, due to the game's numerous delays since its announcement in 1997 the game has become the butt of around 50% of gaming jokes to date, so I think non specific date is a smart move.

Randy Pitchford, Gearbox's boss, has stated that the game is complete and is being polished ready for it's release in 2011. Shaky Cam vidoes have surfaced from the floor of PAX, but as soon as a real trailer (or good quality footage) is available I will add it to the bottom of this post.

PS. Duke is actually coming out, how cool is that?
