Four things I can honestly say I like a whole damn lot are comics, video games, zombies and free stuff. So whisper the words to me, ‘Left 4 Dead prologue comic online right now for free’ and my happiness meter jumps straight to ‘Embarrassing in Swim wear’ level.

While the Left 4 Dead series was never much for plot (zombies, shoot, run, safe house, repeat) the characters were likeable and its cool to see what happened to them following the game. The comic, titled The Sacrifice, is to be released in four instalments. Two installments are down so far with number 3 arriving next week. Trust me, they are brilliant.

Note to Valve, I’d buy this in trade paperback format! My youngest son loves Left 4 Dead and this would be perfect bed time reading.
