You might be dodgy on game of the year editions but here's at least three good reasons to hand over more money to 2K. One, Borderlands was bloody brilliant, Halo gameplay in a Diablo style world with hundreds of different guns available to wreck havoc with, added to this Borderlands had some of the best DLC of any game released this year, Zombie Island of Dr Ned, Mad Moxxie's Underdome, Armoury of General Knoxx and Claptraps Robot Revolution offering stellar single and coop player expansion experiences to an all ready great game. Two, you're basically getting four complete DLC packs on the disc for free, kind of a bummer for Borderlands fans like me who got them all when they first released, but good value for you late adopters. And finally three, buying this edition in stores gives you access to 2K's Duke Nukem club and early access to demos and other goodies for Duke's upcoming resurrection.

Much like Valve's Orange Box of a few years ago, the Borderlands GOTY Edition is value that's hard to pass up, especially if you missed Borderlands the first time round or bought the game and missed the DLC. Hilarious trailer below to oversell you on it.
