Here's the launch trailer for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood which will be on shelves in just a few short days on the 18th. The Assassin's Creed series is one that has surprised me, which can't be said for very many game franchises over the last decade, but I'm genuinely excited to find out what happens to the Auditore family, Assassin order and the Templars in this game. The opposite of so many flash in the pan games, the game takes its time getting where it's going and if you don't have the patience to see it through, your loss. If you want to make an argument for games as art you'd have an easier time selling a game like this to the naysayers over something as difficult to explain as the dream world qualities of a Team ICO game. The trailer has some stuff I don't recall seeing in previous trailers, such as the parachute or Da Vinci's early designs for an artillery vehicle brought to life.

Got my preorder for the collectors edition in my wallet, which unfortunately does not come with one of this wrist mounted knives. Ah well. Maybe the next game.
