If you didn't own a computer capable of gaining sentience and overthrowing mankind when Crysis was released over a year ago for the PC you very likely didn't get to play it, I know I didn't. So i'm unfamiliar with the below mentioned Major Laurence “Prophet” Barnes, an apparent integral character to the series, and how he ties into the Crysis mythos, which based on this trailer is looking a lot more complicated than 'shoot dem damn commie aliens'.

The playable character in Crysis 2, named Alcatraz, is also a different character from the protagonist of the original Crysis. It's a pretty cool trailer and if I wasn't all ready excited to play Crysis 2, I'd be MORE excited.
