Well this is just plain weird. We've heard for a while that we'd see more Avatar focused games beyond the option of using them in certain Kinect titles. But this is something... bigger, than expected. Rather than the usual simle platformer or cart racing game or something generic MS has a full on adventure fantasy game called the Avatar Legends.

Trailers below but it's got quite a lot of footage. It doesn't look amazing, simple graphics and simple gameplay, maybe a gateway RPG drug for kids to get them hooked before you drop an Elder Scrolls on them. But the trailer gets very interesting towards the end where it demonstrates an editor mode you can use to modfiy the landscape and drop buildings. A customisable dialogue tree even appears for a moment. That part looks quite groovy for the Sim fans. So far no other details other than we'll see this game appear on the dash board sometime this year.
