If you’re anything like me, first let me say congratulations on being so awesome, you’ve probably barely scratched the various game modes and unlockables in Gears of War 3. I’ve only just hit a hundred rounds of Horde mode last night. But all ready Epic wants me to fork over 800 MS points (or nothing if I’d bought the season pass) for Horde Command.

The new pack will feature new levels, new weapon skins, new characters (you get to play as Bernie, Yay!). Plus a bunch of new fortifications, Onyx Guard bots, fire bolts for sentries and the Silverback can fire rockets and is cheaper to fix.

Don’t worry about further stuffing your eligibility to play games either, players with the extra content will still be able to use it alongside players who don’t.

I know I should be pissed that this all reeks of content that was clipped off the retail release to be unlocked later. But hell, there was a lot of damn content there to begin with. This is like icing on more icing and the cake a forgotten tasty memory somewhere in the depths of all that frosting.
