I was going to post about one thing, then I played a demo and watched a trailer so I thought I just make the one topic.
So, Just watched the Wolverine trailer and I must say it looks pretty spectacular. Although in saying that, it gave me the same feeling I got when I played the darkness demo and got to watch the intro in the back of the car in the tunnel etc. which was this: I really wanna see this movie. Is that weird? From the trailer I got that I would be happy to sit through an action film made with the same technology rather than play the game. I don't know, maybe I'm just weird, or maybe it's cause they showed next to no gameplay.
Rant about experimental game typeWould that be such a bad Idea? An interactive movie? Kind of like a rail shooter, that had some first person bits, but there was a story going on the whole time, and it was up to you how much you did interactive wise. Half Life springs to mind as a game that had elements of this in it. There were conversations and moments that you played no part in other than being a person in the room, or thing going along the conveyer belt, and you could choose where to look and whether you even wanted to listen. I want that more
Rant overAaaaaanyway, the second thing I was going to talk about was Outrun. In short, it's a HD version of the game I have on psp... that's it as far as I can tell from the trial. Not going to buy it.
also, the original outrun was about getting away from the cops, right?
