WHAT GAMES ARE YOU PLAYING AT THE MOMENT?

For me, just finished DEAD SPACE what an awesome game, loved every minute of it.

So onto FABLE 2, I'm a few hours in and struggling to stay with it at the moment.
I do enjoy it but seem to find myself looking to put something more exciting on, just in an action game mood of late.

Hence, I picked up GOW2 today, what a great game so far, so easy to play and play for a long time.
Think I've done 4 hours straight and really enjoying it. Just got swallowed by a worm was cool, go figure.
Great graphics and some of the, 'press Y to look at the pretty event', events are stunning.
Feels alot bigger than the original in every sense.

Other than that, just finished a PGA Tour on TIGER WOODS 09, and going through a few seasons on PES2009.

I have been a bit of a sicko lately.

I have finished in the past two weeks.

Deadspace - 5/5 its all been said

Lego Batman - Great fun and much better than indiana

Saints Row 2 - A funnier version of GTA IV but still not in the same league

Star Ware Force Unleashed - Better than I expected, painfully easy and rather boring.

Onto Fable 2, then GOW2 then Fallout 3 then Farcry 2

In between been playing Tigeys 09, Soul Cal IV

At the moment,

Fable 2, finished the main quest once as a good guy now I'm intent on buying everything I can in the entire world I've also started an evil char, but haven't put much time into her yet.

Assassin's Creed! now I know what you're going to say but I only picked this game up about a month ago and in between playing fable I'm almost finished it, but I must say wtf is up with the 90% combat gameplay towards the end? it's rather frustrating, but I really want to find out the result of the 'future' story so I will persevere.

GTA IV. Another one I picked up last week from ebay for a bargain price! haven't actually started it yet, I'm waiting till I get my lovely HD monitor before I put GTA in, out of respect

oh, and I picked up Viva Pinata for 13 bucks on the weekend as well. so far, quite enjoyable but they aren't shy about giving me awards and new things. there was a point were I unlocked about 8 things at once, and each one has a little movie... that was kind of annoying.

Roller Coaster Tycoon 2! Man, just got this out again for the first time in years! I loved this game and I still do. It is from a time where games didn't have to have cartoony graphics to be published, they could just be about the whole business side, i.e. building, finaces, advertising, park layout. phenomenal game.

DJ max portable 2. I'm am never not playing this game. It is a great way to get to school on the tram.

Just finished GOW2, what an excellent game, the detail put into it is amazing.
The changing environments are excellent as are all the different things you do.
Really enjoyable the entire way through. Not one boring/ tedious bit, loved it.

On to COD:WAW.

Everything went on hold to play Gears 2, finished on normal and making it through on Insane now which is, well, insane.

I should really get back to Fallout 3 and Fable 2, they're not nearly getting enough love.

I was also killing time before the big releases by finishing Saints Row, the first one, before I played the sequel, so I need to to finish that of too.

AND I had some strange compulsion to play Prey the other day as well, which I bought a year ago and have never played. Shameful.

I have a distant memory of renting Prey, playing it for 5 miutes, then taking it back.

Atm im playing too many games; Left 4 Dead Demo, Stranglehold Demo, Mirror's Edge Demo, Castle Crashers, N+, Fallout 3, Halo 3 and Far Cry 2.

Far Cry's taking up about 60% of my time coz its SO DAMN ADDICTIVE, then Fallout and L4D are taking up a bit, and the rest is mainly Stranglehold (practising for an upcoming games night - winner of the Stranglehold Demo Sickest Kill Challenge will not have to pay for pizza - try it, its about 100% pure awesome).

Hahaha I like the idea for the competition.

I've started on COD WAW.
2 levels in I like this one better than COD4, great graphics and some intense gameplay.

I'm still playing Fable II at the moment. I had a a change of heart around an hour in and decided i would restart as hero rather than be all out villian.

The fact i received the "paragon" achievement for reaching 100% good or in my case evil after 40 mins play concerned me.

Its actually pretty good fun and love my dog hammo.

I finally got my GHWT complete band pack on Friday, no thanks to Big Dubs I ended up going to JB Hi-Fi instead.

I had an absolute blast with mates on Saturday night playing as a four piece

I also decided to rent some games on Sunday night to check out what I would buy after Fable II.

Played the first level of GOW2 and was so impressed I will definatley be picking this one up. The controls are really improved and the world once again feels immersive.

I then loaded COD WAW into the drive from the moment I heard Kiethers voice I knew i would love this game, I'm rekindling my love of the ol' bolt action rifle and will definatley buy this as well.

This bring me onto the third game i rented which was fallout 3, goo goo ga ga, dadda, kill me now please I hated the first 10mins with passion. I wanted to kill Butch from the get-go and hope his mother did get slaughtered.

Ok..... back to Fable 2 and GHWT

I picked up GHWT on the weekend and I am loving it so far, though I just found out someone broke one of the stick holders on the drums cause they forgot to flip it down and then whacked it while playing. grrr...

Only gripe so far, I want buttons I can hit with the drum sticks to scroll up and down. It's annoying to have to reach to the d-pad so often. That's just me being petty though, the game rocks!




I was reading your post and thought "what? stranglehold? but that's so old!" then read on and laughed when I realized why. awesome idea

Edit: ok, second gripe with GHWT, I just got told to stop the singing cause people are trying to sleep. I even had my headphones on and everything stupid fun singing...
